Dispensing Pex radiant floor heating tubing for slabs is easy, you simply roll it. But  dispensing PEX tubing under a subfloor in the joist cavity is a trickier propostion.  You must be very careful to prevent kinks or twists in the tubing. Most radiant floor heating tubing manufacturers offer tubing dispensers for the professional installer - some cost over $1000.00.  We developed the TUBESPOOLER to be simple, inexpensive and disposable. When you purchase your radiant floor heating packages from us they come with very clear instructions for installing the tubing.

TubeSpoolerIt is very important that the radiant floor heating tubing is taken off the coil without putting twists in it. The TUBESPOOLER™ consists of a bearing assembly, a round piece of 3/4 inch plywood 36 inches in diameter and a plastic spool. It is needed only for wood floor tubing installations.

(two days later) Thanks for the Heads-up on all!!

I did receive the advanced shipping info. And have informed (the delivery addressee). The concrete crew poured the garage floor today. The basement floor will be a big project for my wife and I. The excavator will have to dump 36 Yards of sand over the 8' walls that we will have to hand level before putting foam and PEX down on. The good thing is the sand is easy to work with. I will send you pictures of the progress.
